A Look At The Saints
by MiamiU83

Quaterbacks- The Saints really upgraded their QB postion this offseason with the acquisition of former Chargers QB, Drew Brees. But who knows how he's going to be at the start of the season because hes coming back from an injury (on his throwing arm), and Aaron Brooks is gone. He is the fomer starting QB. Their backups are Adrian McPherson and Jamie Martin are not that great. So if Brees is healthy and can do what he did in San Deigo the last couple of years they will be fine. GRADE- B

Runningbacks-They have one of the best in Deuce McAllister and with the 2nd overall pick in ths years draft they got the explosive Reggie Bush out of USC. Their 3rd string back is Micheal Bennett who they signed in the offseason. At his best, and that's when he's healthy, Bennett can be a pro bowl caliber type back like he was for the Minnesota Vikings in 2002. GRADE- A

Recievers-Last year was a big disapointment  for this recieving corp. Joe Horn htd the worst season of his career, and was plagued by injuries which could be a sign that he might be slowing down. They also need to find a long term answer for a number one postion reciever for life after Joe Horn. They were hoping that Stallworth could be that man, but only time can tell. With the addition of Bethal Johnson for dissapointing DT Johnathan Sulvan in a trade with the patroits will add even more speed to this group of  recievers and will be a good slot reciever. The Tightend postion really lacks playmaking ability. GRADE-B
